Meet our Event Chair!
We're honored to welcome Ernest Banks as Event Chair for Dancing into Dreamland 2026. Ernest is an Architectural Designer and board member of studioMAIN, where he brings vision and creativity to projects across central Arkansas. He's also the design lead for Beyond the Divide, a spring 2026 initiative celebrating the heritage of West 9th Street through public art, tactical urbanism, and community programming. Ernest's leadership connects two important missions: preserving Dreamland Ballroom as a vibrant gathering place and honoring the cultural legacy of this historic corridor. His passion for design, community, and the stories that spaces tell makes him the perfect champion for this year's celebration.
Meet our Emcees and Judges!
Local radio sensation Poolboy, from Alice 107.7 FM, returns for his 10th year emceeing alongside first time DID host Hana Settles, Digital Marketing Manager for Saracen Casino.
Our panel of judges are all DID veterans; Joey Lauren Adams, Brian Earles, and Christen Pitts. Joey Lauren Adams, with her career in movies and television, offers a unique perspective on performance while using her industry expertise to keep us laughing, Brian returns to DID with many years of theatrical experience and his lively sense of humor, and Christen brings a teacher’s eye to our panel as the founder/director of the dance program at NLR High School.
